Place: Bassily Auditorium, The American University in Cairo - New Cairo Campus (Google Map)

Date: Wednesday 6th November 2024

Description: The World Urban Campaign Assembly serves as a significant convening of urban development stakeholders, comprising policymakers, academics, urban professionals and civil society organizations. It is held annually in conjunction with milestones events, particularly in parallel to the biennial World Urban Forum. This assembly is hosted by the American University in Cairo (AUC) during the 12th edition of the World Urban Forum (WUF12) held in Cairo from 4 to 8 November 2024.

The primary objective of the WUC Assembly 2024 is to draw on the results of the activities run by the coalition in the past year, in particular the outcomes of the #HousingMatters thematic campaign and the Egypt Urban Campaign towards WUF12. The Assembly event will also introduce the newly elected leaders of the World Urban Campaign.
