Description: The second EUC Assembly Meeting at Nile University aims to build upon the outcomes of the initial EUC Assembly Meeting held at Cairo University from April 20 to 24, 2024. This follow-up meeting will focus on an in-depth discussion of EUC updates, reviewing the progress made by EUC partners, and outlining future plans for EUC collaborative efforts. The objective is to provide a platform for comprehensive dialogue and to foster an environment where partners can address queries and share valuable insights.

Background: The Egypt Urban Campaign aims to engage UN-Habitat partners and citizens in Egypt in preparation for the World Urban Forum 12 (WUF 12), with the goal of making it a significant event for the country's future. Its objectives include promoting successful solutions to urban sustainability issues and facilitating proactive exchanges between stakeholders on local urbantopics.

Coordinated by UN-Habitat under the World Urban Campaign, the initiative is supported by a diverse network of partners, totaling over 315 organizations to date. Prospective members apply through an online form and provide an application letter outlining their commitments to the campaign.
